Well we have rounded the corner into summer break for our school age kids. This brings the close to another year of our Bus Stop Ministry. With the changes happening at CNCS I know there will be some changes to this ministry for next year. I do not know what they will be as of yet, but I do know that they will give us the opportunity to glorify Jesus. Please continue to pray for the school district and our
opportunities to ministry to it.
We have now finished our second series in our theme of discipleship. I pray that it was as convicting for you as it was for me. The desires of our flesh may have ourselves at the center, but they do not have what is best for us in mind. We can praise Yahweh that through his Spirit our thinking, acting, and desires can be changed so that peace, and unity can be experienced in a way that glorifies him. One thing that we need to
remember is that: Peace is the posture we operate from, not the prize we are looking to obtain.
June is going to bring some flexibility to our preaching schedule. We have communion Sunday, Graduate Sunday, Lakeland Child Evangelism Services, Lighthouse Recovery and a 5th Sunday Worship Sunday in our Park! It is going to be a busy but blessed June!
