As we are coming back to our theme of discipleship for this year we are working through our second series Defeating Desires. This series is designed to dive us deep into the battle of the desires of our flesh and how the fruits of the Spirit change the way we think, act, and eventually our desires.
As we navigate this series we want to make sure we stay grounded in the gospel. Our focus
verse for this series that you can work on committing to memory is Titus 3:4-6. This passage reminds us that "He saved us according to his own mercy." Let us commit to letting the Spirit grow us through this series as we seek to understand our need for Jesus even more!
I would also encourage you each to attend our Annual Business Meeting the evening of the 18th. This meeting will overview where we have been in this past year, and begin to spell out where we are heading
in the future. There will also be some points for our active membership to vote on. As we prepare for this meeting I would ask you to be praying through Ezekiel 37:1-14, 21-27.
