As we enter into April we are rounding a corner in our preaching series. We have finished our first series under our theme of discipleship; Living in Power. We are pausing from this for the first three weeks of April to celebrate communion and focus on the passion week. This year we are going to spend the passion season in the Psalms.
Coming out of the passion season
we will be starting our second discipleship series Defeating Desires. Through this series we will be taking a deep dive look into Galatians 5:16-26. Each week we will look at a category of sinful desires and how the fruits of the Spirit help us to overcome these desires. Our focus verse for this series will be Titus 3:4-6.
"But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness,
but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior"
